Join FuJET as we soak up the summer sun and waves, and clean up one of Iwaki’s picturesque beaches!

Iwaki is known for its relatively temperate summers and mild winters, as well as great seafood and seven beaches! While summer festivals in many parts of the prefecture might be winding down, a beach clean-up day is the perfect way to enjoy more of what summer has to offer, and meet some of Fukushima’s new JETs!

Make sure to bring sunscreen, food and drink, and a towel. Sandals or other comfortable shoes are a must as the beach can get pretty hot! Any other beach accessories are welcome too!
