Hi everyone! With cooler weather and stunning foliage on the way, we’re about to trek into the fall hiking season! 🍁🥾
Oze National Park in Minami-Aizu has several stunning trails and views all-year-round, and stretches across three prefectures. Fukushima prefecture is filled with a myriad of stunning places to hike and explore, and Oze National Park makes for one of its most memorable and unique natural areas.
Previously, we have carpooled to Oze National Park and hiked it as a day trip. However, depending on where you’re coming from in the prefecture, it can be up to 4 hours each way by car, so staying at a ryokan (traditional inn) may be an ideal way to get the most out of what the area has to offer. There are also campgrounds in the area.
To accommodate all those who are interested in staying overnight at a traditional inn, we kindly request that you carefully read and respond to our interest form by September 25th at 6PM.
On the other hand, if you would like to come to the hike just as a day trip and/or can arrange your own transportation and lodging, you can still sign up until the day before the hike.

Note: If you are interested in staying overnight at one of the inns but become unable to stay, cancellations are also subject to the same cutoff date.
🍂We’re excited and hope to see you all there! 🍂
